This includes looking at the use of environmentally friendly options for printing brand collateral as well as looking at greener options for corporate swag. In days gone by this was often prohibitively expensive. Those days are gone. If you dabble in design to any degree then you know the frustration of font management. Using the traditional methods provided by either the Windows OS or Mac OS just don’t cut it when you start to acquire a plethora of fonts in all shapes and styles.
Linotype offer a fully functional version of FontExplorer X for the Mac platform and are coming out with a non-beta version for the PC shortly. The best part about it? The software is free! Thank you Linotype! I’ve been using the beta version for roughly a year now and must say the the interface and functionality of the software rival that of any font management software out there.

here’s the official blurb from Linotype:
FontExplorer® X sets a new standard for font management software. Linotype is pleased to announce the missing link to your font collection. With the new FontExplorer™ X, font management, font sorting, font shopping and font discovery are simple and fun! FontExplorer X gives computer users all the functionality they ever dreamed – easy to use with an elegant style.
What are you waiting for? Give the software a try: http://www.linotype.com/fontexplorerX
