Cloud Computing for BC Law Firms – CBA BC Section Meeting
Through my role on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch’s Law Practice Management Section, I am pleased to announce an upcoming section meeting on Cloud Computing for BC Law Firms. Co-hosted with the General Practice, Solo, and Small Firm Section, the confirmed speakers include:
- Gavin Hume, Q.C., President of the Law Society of BC and chair of the Cloud Computing Working Group; and
- Jack Newton, Co-Founder and CEO of Clio Practice Management Software.
The discussion will follow from the July release of the Report of the Cloud Computing Working Group. The event is open to section members and will be held at the Law Foundation of BC on November 30th between noon and 1:30. If you are not a member of either section, you may still apply to attend by completing a privilege pass request form. For more information, please see the formal CBA notice.
